Machine Operator Straight Edge Polishing Machine

Location: Frederick, MD Pay: $18.00-$20.00/hour (based on experience)

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a reliable and hardworking machine operator to operate a straight edge polishing machine in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires individuals who are comfortable working on their feet, capable of lifting heavy materials, and committed to maintaining quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate has machine operation experience and enjoys hands-on work.

Schedule

Morning shift: 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM. Some schedule flexibility may be available based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor a straight edge polishing machine
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Load, unload, and move materials throughout the production process
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and operating guidelines
• Communicate production issues and equipment concerns to supervisors
• Assist with general production and warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to stand and work on your feet for an entire shift
• Ability to consistently lift 50+ pounds
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Requirements

• Steel-toe waterproof boots required
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Must follow all workplace safety procedures
