Supply Chain Manager

Relate Search has partnered with an industrial manufacturer to identify an experienced Supply Chain Manager . Reporting directly to executive leadership, this highly visible role will lead strategic supply chain initiatives while overseeing procurement, production planning, inventory management, and materials operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in manufacturing supply chains, a collaborative leadership style, and a proven ability to improve operational performance through continuous improvement and strategic planning. Key Responsibilities Lead procurement, planning, inventory management, and materials functions to support production, customer service, and business objectives. Develop and execute integrated supply chain strategies that optimize inventory levels, improve forecast accuracy, and strengthen supplier performance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, material flow, and Lean manufacturing principles. Build, coach, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration. Partner with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and commercial teams to align production planning, resolve constraints, and ensure on-time customer delivery. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred. Eight or more years of progressive supply chain leadership experience within an industrial manufacturing environment. Demonstrated experience in procurement, production planning, inventory management, ERP systems, and supplier relationship management. Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Total Quality Management, or similar continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
