Job Summary As an Automotive Technician at Bertera Subaru of Hartford, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. You will work in a state-of-the-art facility, utilizing the latest technology and equipment to provide top-notch service to our valued customers. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic equipment and software. Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and other key components. Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate repair estimates and explain repairs to customers. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards and protocols. Stay updated on the latest automotive technology, tools, and repair techniques through ongoing training. Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering timely and quality work. Complete all necessary documentation, including repair orders and warranty claims. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in automotive technology is preferred. Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic, preferably in a dealership setting. Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques. Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
