A highly respected and established law firm in the Midwest is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join its Bloomfield Hills, Michigan office. This role will focus on handling construction law matters, particularly representing design professionals and contractors. The position will also involve OSHA-related matters and general commercial litigation.

Ideal candidates will have:

• 3–7 years of experience in commercial litigation, ideally with a focus on construction law

• Experience handling all aspects of litigation, including:

  • Drafting pleadings and motions

  • Managing discovery

  • Taking and defending depositions

  • Arguing motions in court

• Excellent legal research and brief-writing skills

• Strong client management abilities and a client-first approach

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school

• Active membership in the State Bar of Michigan

• A team-oriented mindset and responsiveness to both colleagues and clients

• Comfort with learning and using new legal tech platforms
