WHAT YOU’LL DO Creating meaningful connections Welcome patients with genuine warmth, making them feel like valued members of the Forward Focus family Build personal relationships with patients over time — remembering their preferences and needs Guide new patients through the onboarding process, helping them feel at home in our practice Patient communication Provide attentive, unhurried phone support for patients with a range of needs Schedule appointments while ensuring patients receive the time and attention they deserve Conduct reminder calls for upcoming appointments, including annual physical exams Answer incoming calls warmly and direct messages to theappropriate clinicalteam members Administrative support Maintain patient records with meticulous attention to detail Process office visit fees accurately and discreetly Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information Support the clinical team through scanning, emailing, faxing, and other administrative tasks WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Skills & experience Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years of work experience Proficiencywith Microsoft Office Suite Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills with careful attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities whilemaintaininga positive, calm demeanor Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred but notrequired Who you are A natural connector — people feel welcome and at ease around you Calm and patient, even during busy periods Proactive: youanticipateneeds and solve small problems before they become big ones A team player who genuinely enjoys contributing to a shared mission Committed to patient privacy and confidentiality in everything you do Patient relations Appointment scheduling Phone support EMR systems Insurance verification Team collaboration BENEFITS $25 - $30 /hr Health and dental insurance 401(k) with matching Paid time off Consistent Monday–Friday schedule (8:00am -4:30pm) — no nights, no weekends Friday early finish at 3:00 PM ABOUT FORWARD FOCUS Founded in 2007 by Dr. Gary Schaffel, Forward Focus was one of Chicago’s first concierge medicine practices.
