Daycare Teacher

Job Description Job Description We are seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Full - Time or Part - Time Daycare Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, promotes their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development, and works collaboratively with fellow staff and families. Responsibilities Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times. Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities, crafts, games, and lessons. Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment. Assist children with daily routines, including meals, snacks, toileting, and rest time. Encourage positive behavior using appropriate guidance techniques. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's daily activities and progress. Follow all daycare policies, licensing regulations, and health and safety procedures. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support children's development. Participate in staff meetings and required training as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting preferred. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Ability to pass required background clearances. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, patient, and compassionate. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively engage with children throughout the day.
