Remote Cyber Security AnalystResponsibilities Include:This position reports to an IT Manager working in Phishing, Awareness, and Learning team within Cybersecurity division in Global Information systems (GIS) department.Be competent to execute the phishing program.Be accountable for planning and engagement needed for the phish simulation for management support and buy-in. Be able to select relevant scenarios with on-going challenges/incidents in the cybersecurity space. Be able to compile phishing results, provide relevant data analytics for user awareness metrics, and generate ad-hoc or requested reports.Fully knowledgeable about phishing, able to develop/maintain the vendor relationship; be able to articulate the contract terms in business application.Be a phishing advocate by providing analysis for attackers, attack methods, and other details the by leveraging available data from Proofpoint.Be able to leverage the result of the data analytics for targeted phishing and provide feedback for user awareness learning to help drive the behavior or cultural change; communicate the phishing results timely.Support the Phishing, Awareness, and Learning team with data about the phishing program and other activities as needed.Keep up with the industry phishing programs and become familiar with other vendors/ phishing programs or solutions that are available in the marketplace as well as its pro and cons.Be accountable as the owner delegate for the phish report button and its support needs; ensure testing and validation after each system upgrade or major change.Assist phishing awareness learning courses to be tested and uploaded into the WorkDay.Participate in other cybersecurity and awareness or business initiative projects and complete assigned tasks through project development, integration and implementation.Understand the basics of the cybersecurity and gain more cybersecurity knowledge quickly.Typical Day:Position is fully remote.This will be a dedicated resource for phishing simulation management, data analytics and communication activities.The resource will help manage the phishing program through planned execution including scenario analysis/selection, system set up, as well as communication and coordination with the impacted organizations.The resource will resolve issues from the phishing simulation program and the Report Phish button by working with appropriate vendor and internal support teams.The resource will provide detailed data analytics utilizing multiple resources such as phishing data, Proofpoint information and other elements on demand.In addition, the resource supports a Power BI Dashboard to aide in communications adding enhancements and additional metrics as needed.The resource is to provide input for general user awareness training and targeted training based on the phishing result analysis.Individual will participate in communication opportunities to raise awareness of phishing activities and to aide in phishing education directly.Be able to combine data and perform cleansing, consolidation, cross referencing, and data analytics from different data sources.Be able to test and standardize data to meet the business needs using excel, SQL, or other tools.Be able to develop dashboards, metrics, or workbooks from multiple data sources using PowerBI including quick filters, parameters, etc. to handle views efficiently.Be able to create and develop parameterized, drill down and AD Hoc reports when necessary.Have advanced skills in excel and similar tools.Education:Requires a Bachelors of Information Systems or relevant degree, technical certification or equivalent experience, prior experience with data analytics is a major plus.Technical Skills Required:The incumbent should have a good working knowledge for Outlook, Teams, and O365 tools, excellent with Excel and PowerPoint presentation.In this role, the incumbent would be gathering data from different sources and combining them into a tool with meaningful presentation and analysis to the management teams and stake holders.The data collected needs to be easily updated and maintained to be eventually imported into a tool that meets the compliance requirements.The incumbent should be able to help resolve issues from both the phish simulation program and the Phish Report button timely by working with appropriate vendor and internal support teams.TOP 3 SKILLS:Phishing program experienceO365 (ADVANCED EXCEL)Data analysis, reportingSoft Skills Required:It requires excellent communication skills both oral and written.Willingness to work under pressure, and a good team player.Is prepared to go the extra mile to get the work completed when needed.
