Job Title: AI/ML Engineering Co-op - Fall 2026 Job Category: Intern/Co-op Time Type: Part time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: None Employee Type: Part-Time On-Call Percentage of Travel Required: None Type of Travel: None * * * The Opportunity: This position is for an AI/ML Engineering Co-op in King of Prussia, PA. You will get to work closely with our team of excellent software developers who are eager to mentor and teach their craft and have the opportunity to work with members of our Leadership team to learn about other areas of interest to you! Responsibilities: • Working with a diverse team to research and develop AI/ML models • Working on an AI/ML program that will be: • Exploring advanced Retrieval Augmentation Generation (RAG) techniques • Exploring various text embedding models and techniques • Fine tuning embedding models • Building a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server • Exploring synthetic data generation techniques • Regular meetings with mentor(s) Qualifications: Required: • Proficiency with any one of the following languages: Java, Python, C++, etc. • Familiar with at least one unsupervised, and one supervised machine learning technique • Proficiency in data science and data analysis • Great communication skills • Currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited university • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future Desired: • Experience training and developing machine learning models • Experience with Large Language Models (LLM), vector databases (e.g. ChromaDB, Weaviate) • Experience using Agentic coding assistants • Experience with Pytorch, Tensorflow, and/or Keras Experience with Cloud infrastructures – AWS or C2S preferred • Experience working within an Agile framework for feature development • Experience with Containerization – Docker preferred • Experience developing performant algorithms in various domains EHS/Environmental Requirements: This job operates in a professional office environment. Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
