Verovian Nursing Recruitment Agency is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse for Medical/Surgical services in Kansas City, Missouri. As a Medical/Surgical services Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury. You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement care that promotes recovery and well-being.

Provide direct patient care, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and coordinating treatment plans. Assess patients' medical conditions, documenting progress and changes in their status. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and recovery plans. Administer treatments and assist in medical procedures as prescribed by physicians. Ensure patient safety and comfort by adhering to established policies and protocols. Foster a compassionate and professional environment, supporting both patients and fellow team members. Maintain accurate patient records, documenting assessments, treatments, and outcomes. Ensure compliance with healthcare standards, regulatory requirements, and hospital policies.

Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) is required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri. Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a Medical/Surgical setting is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is a plus. Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
