Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will provide critical care to patients in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the highest standards of patient care are met. The ER RN will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support patients with various emergency conditions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Implement medical care plans and administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting significant changes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Participate in patient education and support throughout the care process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting.
• Current RN license in South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS (CPI and TNCC preferred).
• Epic charting experience required.
