Store Manager - Madison Avenue

Our client, a women's contemporary fashion brand, is seeking a Store Manager to lead its upper Madison Avenue location. This is a hands-on, sales-focused leadership role responsible for driving store performance, developing a strong sales team, and building lasting client relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Drive personal and store sales goals while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Build and maintain a loyal client base through consistent outreach via email, phone, and text.
• Lead by example on the sales floor and coach the team on selling, styling, and clienteling.
• Provide ongoing feedback and motivate the team to achieve and exceed sales and KPI goals.
• Develop team members through training, coaching, and knowledge of current collections and trends.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and train new employees.
• Oversee daily store operations, including payroll, organization, cleanliness, and overall store presentation.
• Partner with visual, operations, and other teams to ensure the store runs efficiently and reflects the brand.
• Foster a collaborative, positive, and high-performing team environment.
• Support company initiatives and partner with other Store Managers across the district.

Qualifications:

• Previous luxury or contemporary retail management experience required.
• Strong sales and clienteling experience.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Strong business acumen and ability to drive results.
• Comfortable working on the sales floor in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
