Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | 4x10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week | Day/Evening shift (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) with call requirements; call coverage includes evening call twice per week (5:00 PM – 7:00 PM), holiday call 2–3 times per contract (rotating blocks), and weekend call 2–3 times per contract (12-hour blocks, Saturday or Sunday)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients in the operating room setting
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across a range of surgical specialties
• Support orthopedic, total joint, arthroscopic, and neurosurgical procedures
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to sterile technique and surgical protocols throughout all procedures
• Participate in on-call rotations including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 18 months of Operating Room nursing experience
• Strong hands-on experience with orthopedic surgery, total joint replacements, arthroscopic procedures, and neurosurgery
• Ability to fulfill on-call obligations including evenings, holidays, and weekends
• Current BLS certification; additional certifications may be required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience functioning in both scrub and circulating roles within a high-volume OR environment
• Familiarity with a broad range of surgical specialties beyond core required areas
