Mercedes-Benz of Austin is looking for an additional Detailer! A Detailer possesses a positive attitude and a professional appearance and demeanor. Our team members are service-oriented, customer-centered, and focused on safety. Experience is preferred.Job duties include but are not limited to:Perform the following tasksDrive car through automatic car wash (verify car is secure and safe to go through automatic car wash - if not secure or hand wash)Hand and/or brush vehicle exteriors and shine tires and rimsVacuum inside and trunk carpetsClean and maintain vehicle interiors, including dashboards, consolesDry the outside of vehicleClean door trims and hingesClean windows including windshield inside and out (make sure no streaks)Perform the following detail tasksWax and buff exteriorSteam clean inside and outPressure wash exterior and under hoodDetail vacuums design in carpetPolish exterior chrome and all trimUse air pressure and special equipment to dry inside and outside surfacesApply special chemical product to exterior and interiorApply touch up paint to minor scratches and chipsCheck in new vehicles from transporter companyInspect for damageInsure allMove and park vehicles in correct locationManage inventory and record suppliesDelivering vehicles with sales teamEnsure tools and equipment are operated in a safe manner at all times, and report equipment defects to the service manager or dealer.Understand and comply with current and future federal, state, and local regulations, the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard, etc.Practice safe driving skillsOffer friendly and knowledgeable assistanceMeet grooming standards; proper uniform attireReport all incidents immediately to supervisorAdherence to corporate policies and proceduresTeam playerSet next shift up for successAbility to multitask and manage timeAble to work without supervisionQualifications:Must be at least 18 years old or olderPass a drug testMust have held a valid driver's license for at least 1 yearValid social security cardCan not have any DWI chargesMust pass a criminal background checkProvide a 3 year driving recordReliable transportation to and from workDemonstrate a professional appearance and demeanorHigh school diploma or equivalentEnjoy practical workAn eye for detailAble to cope with the physical demands of the jobHours:Flexible hours - shift available Tuesday thru Friday 6:45 am - 7:00 pm and rotating Saturdays from 7:45 am - 6:00 pm.This is a full-time position.Compensation:Starting at $20 per hour.CAG is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
