Prep Cook

Join our team at Avery Point by Erickson Senior Living in Short Pump, VA. We offer competitive compensation of $16/hr - $17/hr, based on experience, and a schedule from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM, five days per week. Career growth opportunities with training are available.

As a Prep Cook, you will be passionate about food and teamwork, contributing to our Signature Dining Programs. You will engage in la minute cooking and create chef-inspired dishes, working in state-of-the-art kitchens with top-notch equipment.

You will make an impact by:

• Assisting in the consistent preparation of all food items according to proper safety and cooking techniques
• Maintaining a clean and sanitized kitchen and work station
• Using your culinary talents to prepare and assemble high-quality menu items that drive resident satisfaction

You will need:

• Ability to work some weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, from hot kitchens to cold refrigerators and freezers
