We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Contract Prep Cook to join our culinary team in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, knife handling, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, following recipes, and ensuring timely kitchen operations. Must possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing.
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and workstations.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation.
Requirements:
- Proficient knife handling and food preparation skills.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
