Overview The Montefiore Einstein Center for Transplantation and the Division of Hepatology/Department of Medicine is seeking a Hepatologist for a full-time academic faculty position. Join a collegial team of 7 Hepatologists and a professional support staff comprised of NPs and PAs, RNs and Administrators. Responsibilities Participation in the call rotations (6 weekends per year) is required. Endoscopy is available, if desired. Requirements The applicant should have formal Fellowship training in GI/Hepatology from an approved program (or equivalent), be Board Eligible or Certified in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology and have at least 2 years post Fellowship experience. The applicant will have demonstrated academic excellence, knowledge of UNOS and CMS regulations, and care of patients with liver disease. Depending on experience and academic background, the candidate may be eligible for Assistant, Associate, or Professor rank at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
