A professional with extensive knowledge to oversee all plant operations and make crucial decisions for the company. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with the responsibility for all financial aspects of plant operations and have a familiarity with the third-party logistics and/or the automotive industry.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Reports directly to the Head of Business UnitLeading a team of salaried and hourly employeesBuilding rapport with current and potential customersGrowing the AXVOR brand in the regionP&L ResponsibilitiesProject ManagementLaunch ManagementCreate direction for departments by having daily and weekly meetings with the direct reportsMaintain and improve employee experience through employee engagementCollaborate with our corporate resourcesDirect, coordinate, and assign work activities to all employees under supervision in facility and monitor, review and evaluate work product, methods, and procedures of those employeesUnderstanding of lean processing principlesResponsible for driving continuous improvementEstablish and maintain effective KPI's, monitors performance and initiates improvement opportunitiesProduce productivity reports and turn data into business cases to make fact-based decisionsDevelops and manages operations budgets to ensure compliance with the company and the customerCommunicates with customers to handle any escalated partner service issues or complaintsExceeds client-customer expectationsPromote and maintain a safe working environmentEnforce company policies/procedures and corresponding work instructionsPOSITION REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Materials Management and/or Engineering requiredA minimum of five years of experience at an operational level related to Logistics/Supply Chain ManagementAutomotive and/or Third-Party Logistics is requiredVAA or manufacturing experience is requiredSales experience and established networkSafety mindsetStart-Up, Equipment Installation and Launch Experience RequiredUnderstanding and experience of assembly tooling and equipment and ROBOTICSStrong Customer interfacing skills, 24/7 availability via cell phoneStrong knowledge and experience of problem-solving using Root Cause Analysis, Safety, Labor Relations, and Worker's CompensationDemonstrated experience with performing Layered AuditsERP/WMS proficiency (SAP preferable)Experience with Continuous Improvement and Lean Processing PrinciplesDemonstrated successes related to launching operationsLogistics/Supply Chain background to include proficiency in Third Party Services including Part Sequencing, JIT, Value-Added, Sub-Assembly, Kitting, Repack, Deconsolidation, and Bulk and Small Lot Metering preferredBenefits/Perks:Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K Match, & PTOOpportunity for advancementComprehensive training to fuel your growth and success!About The Company Built for precision.
