AI Strategic Partnerships Solution Architect

Role Description

This position can be remote anywhere in the US with a preference in Santa Clara, Plano, Reston, or New York.

• Product / Partnership Strategy and Execution:
  • Collaborate with PM as a peer in defining the product strategy and own the partnership strategy and execution plan.
  • Articulate understanding of customer needs and wants through research and identify large and ambiguous problem statements to drive outcomes.
  • Craft value for the customer, value for the partner, and value for Palo Alto Networks.
  • Own the partnership roadmap, technical and business plan.
  • Collaborate with TME and engineering in building technology value propositions, demos with partners.
  • Drive pricing, design, and architecture discussions with PM as a peer.
  • Create market positioning for the joint solution with the partner; leverage AI to test positioning and implications.
  • Set challenging solution goals for Palo Alto Networks and the partner, align partners on tradeoffs, and drive cross-functional decisions to execution.
  • Build trust and relationships, understand motivations, and influence through collaboration and evidence.
  • Work with product counsel, legal teams that support partnerships, and marketing.
  • Demonstrate cross-domain mastery and manage tradeoff decisions to address technical debt.
  • Influence senior leaders at Palo Alto Networks and the partner without authority.
• Solution Architecture & Technical Blueprints:
  • Create architecture artifacts that make Prisma AIRS tangible and deployable for partners and their customers.
  • Synthesize complex data into decision-ready narratives for solution vision and strategy.
  • Design comprehensive architecture diagrams and detailed technical blueprints for secure AI deployments.
  • Identify and document critical insertion points for the full Prisma AIRS portfolio within partner-built AI solutions.
  • Navigate and map typical GSI AI tech stacks to design seamless AIRS integration patterns.
  • Demonstrate an exceptional ability to learn new and emerging technologies quickly.
  • Lead cross-domain innovation to enable product growth.
• Joint Use Cases & Technical Value Propositions:
  • Create scalable, reusable technical assets that articulate the value of Prisma AIRS.
  • Create compelling, scenario-based use cases for GSIs, consulting firms, and technology ISVs.
  • Build joint technical value propositions with partners.
  • Engage technology ISV partners to identify and productize integration patterns.
  • Deliver technical workshops, architecture reviews, and enablement sessions.
• Joint Reference Architectures & Lighthouse Customers:
  • Build joint reference architectures co-developed with GSI and ISV partners.
  • Work directly with lighthouse customers to validate reference architectures.
  • Articulate the technical and business value of Prisma AIRS.
  • Package validated architectures, POC scripts, and deployment guides into repeatable assets.
• Design & Build:
  • Design and build translating complex AI security architectures into clear visual artifacts.
  • Design and produce detailed architecture diagrams.
  • Expert-level use of Lucidchart and Google Slides.
  • Translate multi-layer AI system architectures into clear visual flows.
  • Build a library of reusable architecture templates and slide decks.
  • Write, review, and maintain Python scripts and integration code.
  • Configure and test AI inference pipelines.
  • Build end-to-end technical POCs.
  • Configure AI gateways and integrate Prisma AIRS APIs.
• Strategic Advisory & Field Intelligence:
  • Act as the internal and external authority on AI security architectures.
  • Translate field observations into actionable feedback for Prisma AIRS product teams.
  • Monitor emerging AI technologies and ensure Prisma AIRS strategies remain current.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Product Management, Technology consulting, Solutions Architecture, Systems Engineering, or Technical Partner Management focused on AI/ML and/or cloud security architectures.
• Proven experience working with major GSIs and top-tier management consulting firms.
• Deep, hands-on understanding of modern AI solution architectures.
• Ability to rapidly master the Prisma AIRS portfolio.
• Strong understanding of data center security architectures.
• Understanding of how to secure AI agents and manage identity within AI workflows.
• Proficiency in Python scripting, API integrations, and inference platform configuration.
• Exceptional ability to articulate complex technical value propositions.
• Deeply passionate about emerging AI architectures and driving innovation.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering or development background.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Hands-on experience with AI model security and securing Model Context Protocol interactions.
• Technical knowledge of NVIDIA NIM and GPU inference infrastructure.
• Experience with inference platforms such as Together.ai or Neoclouds.
• Understanding of identity management patterns in AI workflows is a plus.

Benefits

• Compensation range: $152,000.00 - $246,500.00/yr.
