Job Details for ON SITE IN-PERSON Senior Accountant:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday regular business hours between 8am and 5pm
• Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 yearly - negotiable depending on experience
• Direct Hire Permanent position with outstanding benefits and generous PTO
• In office, in-person position. Must work physically in Lancaster, PA for 6-9+ months before possible hybrid or remote eligibility

Job Responsibilities & Description for ON SITE IN-PERSON Senior Accountant:

• Support all financial operations including reporting, auditing, P&L involvement, account reconciliation, AR and AP activities etc.
• Reconcile cash, expense, accruals, fixed assets and other categories and maintain documentation of balancing actions
• Create, review, and audit journal entries
• Participate in and oversee financial period closures
• Ensure state and federal tax compliance and reporting
• Coordinate and participate in audits
• Oversee and coach junior accounting team members
• Develop and implement process improvements

Job Requirements for ON SITE IN-PERSON Senior Accountant:

• MUST BE WILING TO WORK IN-OFFICE IN LANCASTER, PA. Remote or Hybrid applicants will not be considered
• REQUIRED: Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related field
• REQUIRED:  Minimum of 5 years' experience in Accounting or similar Professional Financial role
• REQUIRED:  proven experience in month-end closures, P&L and similar functions
• REQUIRED:  Computer proficiency and experience with accounting software and databases, Microsoft and Google products
• Preferred: Experience with an accounting ERP such as Workday
• Preferred: Understanding of GAAP and internal accounting control principles
• Preferred: CPA certification 
• Preferred: financial experience within a non-profit org., education sector, or value-driven business
