Job Summary The Y-CAP of Middle Tennessee is Now Hiring for YCAP Program Assistant – YCAP Location: YCAP 1011 Russell Street, Nashville TN 37206 Position Type: Part-time Pay Range starts at $19 (or more depending on experience) Shift: Monday-Friday 2:30-5:30 p.m. At the YMCA of Middle TN, we’re passionate about empowering young people to grow, learn, and thrive. We’re looking for an energetic, caring leader to join our YCAP team and guide middle school youth through engaging prevention programming at school or community sites. Job Responsibilities Leading and engaging groups of middle schoolers in fun, safe, and meaningful activities Implementing curriculum, keeping attendance and records up to date, and supporting site staff Setting up program spaces to be welcoming, safe, and youth-friendly Building strong relationships with students, families, school partners, and community members Ensuring participant safety while modeling YMCA core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility Pitching in for special projects, events, and family conferences as needed Qualifications Minimum Age:18 Education: College degree preferred Experience: At least 1 year in youth development preferred Benefits Complimentary gym membership. #J-18808-Ljbffr YMCA of Middle Tennessee
