The brand is distributed internationally via Nordstrom, Selfridges, Space NK, Liberty, 5* hotels, spas and concept gyms. Position Summary Dual Shop Manager for NoMad + NoLita. Oversees day‑to‑day operations of two stores, maintains focus on sales goals, manages inventory and marketing, builds the client base, and guides teams of retail specialists. Provides entrepreneurial ownership to drive the stores to success. Responsibilities Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills—embody brand values and lead from the front. Flexible scheduling and availability for retail hours as the first point of contact; plan and schedule store rosters per staffing budgets. Ensure scheduling aligns with fluctuating business needs across both stores. Collaborate with Training and Education Manager to identify training needs and cascade policies. Field and respond to team questions regarding customer approach. Motivate and support sales associates to achieve store sales goals. Reinforce store protocol with emphasis on customer service. Report observations on in‑store trends, business opportunities, customer profiles, and training opportunities; develop strategies to drive business. Run business with agility, adjust direction and improve based on key indicators. Ensure open positions are filled quickly and maintain low turnover by fostering a culture aligned with company values. Provide coaching and direction, empower teams through one‑on‑one interactions and meetings. Enforce people policies consistently and process employee paperwork and payroll accurately. Field and address team questions on company policies. Build relationships within the neighborhood for cross‑promotional and marketing opportunities. Review and execute merchandising directives, visual displays, and in‑store activations for promotional events. Proactively identify opportunities, create action plans, and boost repeat business. Maintain merchandise availability to support sales goals. Ensure inventory accuracy and implement controls for all inventory movements. Perform inventory counts and coordinate orders for stock, including third‑party items. Keep store clean, shop‑ready, and open on schedule. Provide a safe environment for employees and customers. Manage cash register, bank deposits, and safe transfers efficiently. Communicate promptly with Director of Retail Sales regarding operational issues. Qualifications Strong experience and aptitude with Point‑of‑Sale (POS) computer systems. Minimum 4 years of retail management experience, preferably in the beauty industry. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Skills and Abilities Language Ability: Read, interpret and write routine reports and correspondence; speak before groups of customers or employees. Mathematical Ability: Calculate discounts, commissions, percentages, and basic geometry; apply algebra and geometry concepts. Reasoning Ability: Solve practical problems with limited standardization; interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office. Supervisory Responsibilities Manage subordinate employees; recruit, hire, train, assign, direct work, appraise performance, reward, discipline, resolve complaints and address problems.
