Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000 per year
Bonus Opportunity: Up to $12,000 annually based on performance

Position Summary

Anderson Fencing Solutions is seeking an experienced, motivated, and dependable Project Manager / Fencing Crew Lead to oversee daily field operations, manage crews, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.

This position is responsible for supervising multiple fencing projects, maintaining production schedules, ensuring quality workmanship, coordinating materials and equipment, and serving as the primary field leader for all assigned crews. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who takes ownership of project outcomes, leads by example, and is willing to work alongside the crew when necessary.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual Salary: $90,000 - $100,000

Required Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Must own and maintain a reliable pickup truck capable of hauling materials, equipment, and trailers
• Ability to tow trailers safely and legally
• Minimum 8 years of construction, fencing, project management, or crew leadership experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to read plans, measurements, and job specifications
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physical labor when required
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening
• Professional appearance and attitude

Management Structure

The Project Manager / Fencing Crew Lead reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for executing field operations, supervising crews, maintaining project schedules, ensuring quality standards are met, and keeping projects on track.

The Project Manager will provide regular updates to the General Manager regarding:

• Project progress
• Crew performance
• Scheduling needs
• Equipment issues
• Material requirements
• Customer concerns
• Safety matters
• Production goals

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Project Management & Oversight

• Oversee all assigned fencing projects from mobilization through completion.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, profitably, and on schedule.
• Maintain daily production schedules and crew assignments.
• Conduct regular quality control inspections.
• Ensure all work meets Anderson Fencing Solutions standards.
• Identify and resolve field issues before they impact project timelines.
• Maintain communication with the General Manager regarding project status.

Crew Leadership & Supervision

• Directly supervise field crews and foremen.
• Assign daily responsibilities and production goals.
• Train, mentor, and develop employees.
• Maintain accountability for attendance, workmanship, productivity, and professionalism.
• Promote a positive and team-oriented work environment.
• Address employee concerns and performance issues promptly.

Transportation & Material Handling (Mandatory)

• Transport crew members to and from job sites when required.
• Pick up, transport, and deliver fencing materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Haul trailers, machinery, and project materials safely.
• Coordinate material pickups and deliveries.
• Ensure crews have all required materials before work begins.
• Maintain accurate mileage records for reimbursement.
• Must maintain a reliable personal truck suitable for work-related hauling and transportation.

Scheduling & Production Management

• Ensure projects stay on established schedules.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials for maximum efficiency.
• Monitor project timelines and productivity goals.
• Assist the General Manager with workforce planning and resource allocation.
• Anticipate delays and proactively develop solutions.

Safety Responsibilities

• Enforce company safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• Ensure all crew members use required PPE.
• Maintain safe and organized job sites.
• Report accidents, incidents, and safety concerns immediately.
• Promote a culture of safety and accountability.

Equipment & Asset Management

• Monitor company vehicles, trailers, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure proper maintenance and care of company assets.
• Report equipment failures or maintenance needs immediately.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of work areas and equipment.

Customer Relations

• Represent Anderson Fencing Solutions professionally at all times.
• Communicate respectfully and professionally with customers.
• Address customer concerns promptly.
• Maintain positive customer relationships throughout project completion.

Work Schedule & Overtime Requirements

This position is salaried and requires flexibility based on project workload, customer commitments, and seasonal demands.

The Project Manager / Fencing Crew Lead is expected to:

• Work the hours necessary to successfully complete assigned projects.
• Be available for early starts, extended shifts, and occasional weekend work.
• Work mandatory overtime when project schedules, weather conditions, customer deadlines, or business needs require additional hours.
• Lead by example through strong attendance, work ethic, and commitment to project completion.
