Shift: Evenings, 8 Hour Nights, 20:00:00-04:00:00, Friday-Sunday, with on-call every Thursday night and every 8 weekends

Job Description:

The CT Technologist performs Computed Tomography Exams with and without power contrast injections, monitors patient needs, and ensures accurate patient and image documentation in the HIS/RIS and PACS systems. This role includes handling patient transport, technical settings adjustments, and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Use automatic exposure control and accurately employ technical factors.
• Transport, transfer, and position patients safely.
• Confirm patient and exam preparations; evaluate patient conditions to ensure safety.
• Perform SBAR, use AIDET, administer contrast media, and start IVs proficiently.
• Maintain professional growth through seminars and workshops.

Requirements:

• Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification.
• Registered American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, RT(R) (CT) required.
• Complete Samaritan appropriate CT modality orientation.
• Minimum of two years experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (HCP) level to be completed within three months of hire.
