An opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacist to work in a specialty pharmacy setting in Cold Spring, MN. This contract position offers an ongoing assignment with a weekend-focused schedule, ideal for professionals seeking to utilize their expertise in long term care and retail pharmacy services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive pharmacy services in a specialty pharmacy environment
- Manage medication therapy for long-term care and retail patients
- Ensure accuracy in dispensing medications and counsel patients effectively
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
Schedule:
- Saturdays and Sundays, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Qualifications:
- PharmD degree or equivalent pharmacy education
- Immunization certification required
- CPR certification required
- Medication Therapy Management (MTM) certification preferred
- Experience in long term care and retail pharmacy processes
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
