Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity seeks a knowledgeable and dedicated pharmacist to provide weekend coverage at a specialty pharmacy site. The role involves supporting both long-term care and retail pharmacy services, offering variety and professional growth on weekends.
Location: Cold Spring, MN
Schedule:
- Saturday & Sunday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Job Type: Per Diem, ongoing weekend shifts
Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently for retail and long-term care patients
- Provide expert guidance on prescription medications and patient care
- Manage immunizations and provide counseling on medication use
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- PharmD degree required
- Immunization certification preferred
- CPR certification mandatory
- Experience in retail and long-term care pharmacy settings
- MTM (Medication Therapy Management) certification is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
