Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on molds, tooling, and related equipment.
• Assist with troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Learn to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Support mold repairs, modifications, and maintenance activities.
• Perform basic welding, fabrication, machining, and bench work.
• Help maintain preventative maintenance schedules and tooling documentation.
• Enter and update work orders and maintenance records.
• Assist Tooling Supervisors and Managers with special projects.
• Follow all safety, quality, environmental, and company procedures.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and desire to learn a skilled trade.
• Willingness to attend technical school/classes as required by the apprenticeship program.
• Ability to commit to a 3-4 year apprenticeship that combines classroom education and hands-on training.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation to work and training locations.

Preferred:

• Technical school coursework or vocational training.
• Manufacturing, maintenance, automotive, machining, or industrial experience.
• Basic welding or fabrication experience.
