Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Specialist in Gretna, NE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a welcoming, orderly environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, documenting activity, and communicating professionally with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur07:00 AM - 03:00 PMFri07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, managing visitor entry, and maintaining accurate access records. Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site-specific entry and exit procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
