Commercial Painter / Paint & Finishing Technician

Pay: $22-$27 per hour (Based on Experience)

Schedule: Full-Time

Location: Travel to Commercial Project Sites as Needed

We are seeking an experienced Paint & Finishing Technician to join a growing team working on a variety of commercial construction projects. Projects include commercial, industrial, retail, hospitality, multifamily, and healthcare environments.

• Prepare interior and exterior surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, caulking, masking, and priming
• Repair drywall imperfections and minor surface damage
• Protect surrounding areas, fixtures, and finished surfaces during painting operations
• Ensure surfaces are properly prepared to achieve professional-quality finishes

• Apply paints, primers, stains, sealers, and specialty coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
• Complete detailed finish work on trim, doors, cabinetry, and architectural features
• Match paint colors and finishes according to project specifications
• Inspect completed work and make necessary touch-ups to ensure quality standards are met

• Assist with drywall repairs, punch-list tasks, finish carpentry, and light construction work as needed
• Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
• Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades to complete projects efficiently

• At least 2 years of painting, finishing, or related construction experience
• Experience with surface preparation and paint application techniques
• Ability to operate brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
• Basic drywall repair and patching experience
• Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, and elevated work platforms
• Valid driver's license
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Commercial or industrial painting experience
• Experience with airless spray systems and specialty coatings
• Hospitality, healthcare, multifamily, or retail project experience
• Finish carpentry or punch-list experience

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Collins, CO.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
