With customers' mission-critical needs always in mind, our employees deliver end-to-end technology solutions connecting the space, air, land, sea and cyber domains in the interest of national security.Job Location: Londonderry, NHJob Schedule: 4X10: Employees work 10 hour days, 4 days a weekJob Description:L3Harris is seeking a Manufacturing Technician B who will provide support to the production line with unit alignment, assembly, and test.Essential Responsibilities:Able to follow and comply with documents such as work instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructionsAssemble, align, and test, systems, components for optics assemblies and laser assemblies following specified work instructions and procedures to ensure finished product meets established operational and cosmetic requirementsWork with RTV, epoxy, and other bonds/adhesivesComplete fine/complex assemblies with small components and apply bond/adhesives potentially with use of a microscopeMake fine adjustments while simultaneously monitoring computer/screen output of unit resultsOperate complex active alignment stations and toolingUse, read, and interpret oscilloscopes and other measurement devices/toolsWorking knowledge of electronic, optical and mechanical assembliesPerform basic computer activities with programs providedIdentify, utilize, and perform preventive maintenance on tools and test equipment as requiredDemonstrate comprehension of engineering prints and schematicsReport deviations from standard to appropriate resources for review, instruction and authorization and obtain quality inspection when appropriateSupport Lean manufacturing efforts through continuous process improvementMaintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety proceduresApply considerable math skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsAbility to compute rate, ratio, and percentCultivate a culture that assures effective cross functional team-workPerform job duties in a manner that complies with environmental, health and safety regulations, policies and proceduresDemonstrate ethical and professional behavior in accordance with company valuesParticipate in a variety of meetings, committees and task force groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve issues and maintain specific level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements and policiesOperate 50%-75% of work-stations as documented by training recordsBasic Qualifications:• High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years prior experience in Manufacturing, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 0-2 years prior experience in ManufacturingPreferred Qualifications:• Computer skills (Excel, Word); LabView programDemonstrated proficiency at operating 25%-50% of work stations as documented by training records
