Security Clearance: None / Not Required Job Overview Machine Operator is an entry‑level position with no certification required. The purpose of an operator at this level is to learn and train on the basic understandings of all machining‑specific operations, including setting up and operating a variety of CNC and manual machines to produce precision parts under the supervision of a certified machine operator (LevelII or higher). External candidates will receive a $3,000 sign‑on bonus. What You Will Do Set up and operate precision manual and/or computerized machining centers according to standard work. Adjust machine feed/spindle speeds and change tooling and cutters as needed. Read and interpret blueprints and specifications. Understand and follow quality testing techniques and inspect product using precision gauges, measuring instruments, and equipment. Demonstrate proficiency in manufacturing documentation and labor transactions. Support and follow all rules, guidelines, and standards set by EHS, Quality, and CI functions as directed by your leader. Actively participate in the Continuous Improvement process and safety‑related activities. Work extended shifts, overtime, and occasional holiday hours as required by business. Qualifications Required HS diploma or vocational/technical education in a related discipline. Preferred Manufacturing background and manual dexterity for machine operations. Ability to read and understand prints and blueprints. Computer experience (e‑mail, print documents, internet) and willingness to learn. Basic shop math, including geometric tolerances. Basic knowledge of identifying, analyzing, and resolving problems. Effective communication with all levels of employees and management.
