As a valuable member of our dietary team, Dietary Aide will play a crucial role in enhancing the dining experiences and nutritional well-being of our residents.
Aspire Senior Living Pleasant Hill is dedicated to providing exceptional care to our residents. We're seeking a compassionate, team-oriented Dietary Aide to join our dietary team. This Dietary Aide role is responsible for assisting in the preparation and service of meals, ensuring that dietary needs are met in a safe, clean, and respectful environment.
Dietary Aide Responsibilities/Duties:
• Meal Preparation and Service: Assist in preparing and serving meals according to dietary guidelines and residents' preferences.
• Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and equipment, following health and safety protocols.
• Resident Interaction: Engage with residents respectfully, addressing their dietary needs and preferences with a friendly attitude.
• Compliance: Adhere to all dietary procedures, facility policies, and state/federal regulations.
Dietary Aide Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in a dietary, kitchen, or food service role is a plus, especially in a long-term care or healthcare setting.
• Must have an active Food Handler certification.
• Skills: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work independently.
