About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT PICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in PICU and Children's Client within the last 3 years. License: Indiana State License Required. Temporary license may be accepted if applied for. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, RRT, NRP required. PALS preferred. Must-Have: Experience in Labor & Delivery (L&D) is required. Must be comfortable floating between specialties including PICU, NICU, and Pediatrics. Description: Before submission, please provide written confirmation from the traveler regarding their awareness of the every other weekend requirement. First-time travelers are accepted. Travelers must work two out of three paired holidays during the assignment. Certification qualifications include ACLS, BLS, NBRC RRT, and NRP. Education must be accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited. Two years of minimum experience in PICU is required. Children's hospital experience is mandatory within the last three years. Unit assignments will depend on the facility's needs, and travelers may float between NICU and Pediatric Acute Care. Travelers will be required to work every other weekend. Candidates must have experience with aerosol setups, BiPAP, CPAP, tracheostomy care, and interpretation of arterial blood gases. Skills in mechanical ventilation and pediatric critical care are essential. All travelers must comply with floating requirements. Eligibility based on experience is critical, and references are required prior to moving forward with the application.
