About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT PICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in PICU and recent children's hospital experience License: Indiana State License required (temporary license acceptable with application submitted) Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBRC RRT, NRP (required for certain placements), PALS preferred Must-Have: L&D experience, NICU or PICU experience Description: Before submission, please provide written confirmation that the traveler is comfortable with the every other weekend requirement. First-time travelers are accepted. Certification requirements include ACLS, BLS, NBRC RRT, and an Indiana State License. Experience in children's hospitals within the last 3 years is required. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in PICU. Travelers may be assigned to PICU, NICU, and Peds, with floating requirements among these areas. Travelers are required to work every other weekend. A minimum of 12 hours of orientation is included. Candidates must possess skills in a variety of respiratory care procedures and treatments. Floating among NICU and Peds Acute Care is required. Candidates must be prepared to work with pediatric populations, including neonates and infants. Two supervisor references are required for submission. All travelers must adhere to scheduling and floating policies as outlined. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays during the contract duration. Prompt communication regarding any changes in availability is expected. Candidates must possess all required licenses and certifications before the start date.
