Ready to make a meaningful impact with a flexible schedule? A unique contract opportunity is available for a skilled Physical Therapist with experience in school-based settings. This position offers the chance to work part-time—just four hours each week—supporting two students and making a direct difference in their educational journey.
Ideal candidates bring experience with pediatric or school populations, along with a passion for creating accessible learning environments. You’ll collaborate with educators and families to help students achieve their mobility and development goals.
What’s Needed:
- Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Pennsylvania
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively partner with teachers, families, and other service providers
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Commitment to supporting the unique needs of each student
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct physical therapy services as indicated by each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP)
- Conduct assessments and re-evaluations to track progress
- Collaborate with teaching staff and support teams to integrate therapy into daily activities
- Maintain compliance with all documentation and reporting requirements
- Serve as an advocate for students’ physical health and well-being in the school environment
