This role will drive the full lifecycle of applications and services — from strategy and roadmap through solution delivery, production operations, incident management, and continuous improvement — ensuring solutions are reliable, secure, cost effective, and aligned with business outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy, Roadmap & Business AlignmentPartner with business leaders to translate business strategy and priorities into technology strategy, operating plans, and multi‑year delivery roadmapsBalance delivery investments and operational sustainability, incorporating cost, risk, asset health, security, and architectural alignmentProvide cost, feasibility, and value trade‑off analysis to support prioritization and funding decisionsTechnology DeliveryLead delivery of technology solutions and enhancements, ensuring commitments for scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk are metOversee release planning, change management, and deployment activities to minimize business disruptionEnsure solutions meet architectural standards, SDLC requirements, and regulatory expectationsCoordinate across multiple concurrent initiatives and resolve delivery risks and dependenciesProduction Support & Operational ExcellenceOwn production support outcomes for assigned applications and services, including availability, performance, incident management, and remediationLead response to major and critical incidents, ensuring timely service restoration, executive communication, root‑cause analysis, and permanent fixesEstablish and mature operational processes, service metrics, and continuous improvement plans aligned to ITIL and operational best practicesDrive proactive identification of recurring issues, service gaps, and improvement opportunitiesVendor, Partner & SLA ManagementManage strategic vendor and partner relationships across delivery and operationsEstablish, monitor, and enforce service level agreements (SLAs) and delivery expectationsEnsure vendor resources follow Ameriprise standards, methodologies, and quality requirementsPartner with procurement to manage contracts, performance, and cost effectivenessFinancial & Resource ManagementOwn budget and financial planning for delivery initiatives and production services, including vendor contractsOptimize resource strategies (internal vs. vendor, on‑shore/off‑shore) to balance speed, quality, cost, and resilienceForecast and manage spend across delivery and run activities with transparency and accountability People Leadership & Organizational EffectivenessLead and develop an organization spanning delivery and production support functionsBuild capabilities across engineering, operations, and service management disciplinesDrive performance management, talent development, succession planning, and engagementFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementGovernance, Risk & StandardsChampion adoption of enterprise standards, ITIL practices, SDLC, and operational controlsEnsure compliance with security, risk, audit, and regulatory requirementsTranslate technical risks into clear business impacts and mitigation options for senior leadersRequired QualificationsBachelors degree (4-years) in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related field; or equivalent work experience7-10+ years experience of increasing responsibility in the delivery and operations of technology products/services3-5+ years of leadership experience, including demonstrated success in leading technical teams and executing technical projects within a quality management framework2-3+ years of experience in successfully managing budgets (departmental and/or project)Highly effective verbal and written communication skills with ability to deliver technical information to non-technical audiencesRequired QualificationsServiceNowVisa SponsorshipApplicants must have a valid work authorization that does not now, or in the future, require visa sponsorship for employment in the United States (e.g., H-1B, F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, TN).In-Office CollaborationWe are a client-centric, relationship-based business. Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.Base Pay SalaryThe estimated base salary for this role is $131,100 - $180,000 a year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
