Step into an exciting opportunity as a Physical Therapist, making a tangible difference in K-12 students' lives in an urban school setting near Philadelphia. This is a full-time, contract assignment, running through June 10, 2027, perfect for a dedicated professional ready to take on a manageable, small caseload with a focus on ASD and ID populations. You'll work 35 hours per week, all onsite, providing hands-on support and intervention for students with varied needs.

Desired Background:

• Valid and active Pennsylvania Physical Therapy licensure/certification (must provide documentation during the hiring process)
• Solid school-based PT experience required, specifically within K-12 and with students on the autism spectrum and/or with intellectual disabilities
• Genuine enthusiasm and adaptability for working in an urban educational environment
• Able to uphold confidentiality and professional standards while contributing positively to a collaborative special education team
• Willingness and eligibility to obtain all necessary Pennsylvania school clearances
• Ready and able to participate in a Zoom interview as part of the application process

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group PT services to K-12 students based on IEP goals
• Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to maximize student mobility, access, and participation in school routines
• Document progress and adjust interventions as needed, maintaining clear records in compliance with all relevant regulations
• Positively contribute to the school community through professional communication and advocacy for student needs
