Transfer Relationship Manager - University of South Florida

Job Description The Transfer Relationship Manager is a highly skilled professional who provides customer service to students and parents throughout the admissions process. This role will develop relationships to build a pipeline with state colleges to recruit transfer students and manage email queues. The position also assists in dynamic presentations and effectively answers questions about admission and application requirements and processes. The manager reports to the Admissions Team Administrator, Transfer Relationship Management. Responsibilities Recruitment Management: Assist in developing a recruitment plan to implement and meet specific enrollment goals for transfer students. Manage an assigned recruitment territory by attending outreach activities in collaboration with state college representatives and community partners, including occasional overnight travel. Participate in the development, implementation, and communication of the onboarding process and completion of success steps for prospective students. Recruitment Support: Provide backup support to the Customer Success Reps by managing the front desk as needed to handle walk‑in customer support and provide customer service to students and parents throughout the admissions process. Assist in email queues, provide occasional backup phone support to the call center, and manage outreach to students to help with document collection and completion. Presentation Support: Attend state colleges and transfer admissions events to build relationships with prospective students, applicants, counselors, and parents. Provide admissions guidance through information sessions, presentations, and meetings with students, families, and counselors through in‑person and group settings, acting as a point of contact. Coordinate and participate in outreach and access activities for the community and university partners as needed. Adhere to the office‑wide travel policies and SOPs. Data Analysis: Analyze data to determine marketing effectiveness and impact on applicant and enrollment objectives for targeted populations. Develop and utilize various reports and dashboards to aid in decision‑making and support the recruitment team. Compile and analyze statistical data for routine, periodic, and ad‑hoc reports and prepare regular recruitment activity reports, statistical analyses, and enrollment projections. Communication and Collaboration: Build and maintain relationships with college counselors on behalf of USF. Collaborate with university faculty and staff, departments, and community partners to reach enrollment goals. Maintain effective communication and provide admissions guidance to students. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five (5) years of related experience – or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to partner and build strategic relationships with both internal and external key stakeholders. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of the field’s policies, procedures, and practices. Knowledge of Senate Bill 1310 (The Florida Senate) and its application to work experience substitution, conditional upon meeting all employment eligibility requirements in the U.S. The public employer may include a postsecondary degree as a baseline requirement only as an alternative to the number of years of direct experience required, not to exceed two years for an associate degree, four years for a bachelor’s degree, six years for a master’s degree, seven years for a professional degree, or nine years for a doctoral degree. Related work experience may not substitute for any required licensure, certification, or registration required for the position. Minimum qualifications that require a high school diploma are exempt from SB 1310.
