Opportunity: Physician Assistant - Surgery Cardiothoracic Job Details: Provide cardiothoracic surgery coverage Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM on a 24-hour call basis Coverage needed for 3 weekends per month Support urgent surgical cases, including patients transitioning from the cath lab to surgery Manage patients across the care continuum from ICU to discharge Perform vein harvesting as a special procedure Collaborate with supervising surgeon who is available for backup following consult Treat adult patient population ages 18 and older Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system Active PA license required DEA registration required Minimum of 3 years of experience required Acute care certificate is not required Facility: This hospital is a well-established community hospital with 163 beds, offering a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services including advanced cardiac and surgical care.
