Sr FERC Compliance Analyst (Reno or Las Vegas)

Responsibilities Develop and maintain an effective FERC compliance program as outlined in the compliance plan and policy. Respond to compliance‑related questions from business units and provide guidance on required processes and controls. Develop, enhance, and maintain FERC compliance procedures, business processes, and overall program operations. Conduct compliance reviews and risk assessments to evaluate adherence to FERC regulations. Develop and implement corrective action plans to resolve concerns and improve compliance. Stay current with FERC regulations and advise units on impact and implementation requirements. Monitor filing due dates and work with business units to meet FERC filing obligations (forms, compliance filings, and other regulatory requirements). Support management in compliance with the FERC Standards of Conduct, maintaining employee lists by marketing and transmission functions, attending relevant meetings, and addressing conduct questions. Ensure all compliance aspects of the position are known, followed, and comply with all applicable policies, codes, and regulations. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and at least 6 years of compliance or audit experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of marketing, transmission, or accounting areas within a regulated utility. Knowledge of FERC regulations, policies, orders, and reporting requirements. Ability to conduct internal reviews of business processes and transactions. Strong written and verbal communication, time‑management, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in PCs, Microsoft Office, spreadsheet, and database software. Note: Depending on qualifications of applicants, this position may be filled at a lower level than posted.
