Prep & Recovery Unit - Registered Nurse - Cayuga Medical Center

Required Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Proven experience in perioperative nursing, medical-surgical, or recovery units
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Competency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and patient safety procedures
Nice to Have Skills:
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Prior experience with surgical or PACU nursing
- Ability to collaborate seamlessly in multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with patient education and family communication
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
- Must maintain current licensure and certifications
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Travel reimbursements available when applicable
