Required Skills:

• Valid RN license in the state of New York
• Proven experience in emergency or acute care settings
• Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate care effectively
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Competence in documentation and electronic health records management

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with mental health evaluations or crisis intervention
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Prior experience in a chest pain or stroke center environment
• Leadership qualities suitable for charge nurse responsibilities

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of ER or acute care nursing experience
• Experience working in a high-volume emergency setting with multidisciplinary teams

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to assist with on-call responsibilities if needed
• Certifications in relevant specialties are advantageous
• Ability to handle emotionally charged situations with professionalism and empathy
• Must pass background verification and meet hospital credentialing standards
