IT SpecialistPlans and delivers technical support including troubleshooting, installation, removal, moves, system knowledge assistance/training in response to customer requirements.Provides a variety of IT support services essential to the effective operation and performance of VA IT systems implemented at the end user location.Installs and configures VA approved software applications, troubleshoots & maintains all VA approved customer hardware/software applications.Utilizes experience, discretion, judgement and knowledge in the planning, execution, operation and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure.Diagnose and resolve customer reported system incidents, problems, and events.Install and configure hardware, software, and peripheral equipment for system users in accordance with organizational standards.Install and maintain network infrastructure device operating system software (e.g., IOS, firmware).Troubleshoot system hardware and software.This position is primarily aligned to the following NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework work roles: Cyber security code: 411.
