Trade Show Sales Associate (Short-Term, Las Vegas, Oct 20-22)

About us

We help organizations find the people who will not just survive but thrive in the AI era. Our platform uses a proprietary algorithm to identify the skills and qualities that AI can't replace, so employers can make more resilient hiring and workforce decisions. We're preparing for early access and talking with Talent Acquisition and HR leaders at HR Tech.

The opportunity

We're recruiting current students to staff our booth at HR Tech at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. HR Tech is one of the largest HR technology events in the world, and you'll spend three days talking with HR leaders and hiring decision makers, many of whom you'd otherwise struggle to get in front of.

This is a chance to build your own professional network, get hands-on experience selling and generating leads, and put real trade show experience on your résumé. We provide training on how to start conversations, qualify leads, and book meetings, so no experience is needed.

What you'll do

• Greet attendees and give short, friendly product overviews
• Capture lead information and book follow-up meetings with our team
• Answer basic questions about the company and product
• Help organize your leads after the event

What we're looking for

• Current students (sales, business, marketing, communications, HR, or related fields only)
• A confident, friendly communicator who's comfortable starting conversations with strangers
• Interest in sales, HR, hiring, or AI
• Reliable and professional, and available for all three shifts below
• Able to stand for long stretches in a fast-paced environment
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. We are unable to sponsor visas.

Schedule (Mandalay Bay)

• Tuesday, October 20: 2pm-7pm
• Wednesday, October 21: 8am-6pm
• Thursday, October 22: 8am-3pm

Dress code is business casual. Exhibitor badges are provided. There will also be a paid training session before the show, scheduled with selected candidates.

Pay and perks

• $30/hour, including paid training (about $660 for the 22 hours on-site, before training and bonuses)
• $30 bonus for every qualified meeting you book
• Reimbursement for travel to and from Mandalay Bay and reasonable conference-related expenses such as meals, up to $100 per day with receipts
• Payment within 7 days of the event
• A LinkedIn recommendation or reference letter for strong performers
• Real selling experience and a chance to build your own contacts

Location

This is an on-site position for candidates already based in the Las Vegas area. Travel and lodging to Las Vegas are not provided.
