Systems Analyst

Job Summary:

The Systems Analyst 2 role involves analyzing business objectives and user requirements to design and improve computer systems. The position requires 4-7 years of relevant experience, creativity, and independent judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The analyst works under limited supervision, collaborating with various organizational units to understand operational procedures and develop detailed program specifications. Experience with healthcare applications is a plus. Responsibilities: Required Skills & Certifications:

• 4-7 years of experience in systems analysis or related field.
• Experience analyzing and documenting user requirements and operational procedures.
• Strong skills in writing detailed program specifications.
• Proficiency in cost/benefit analysis of systems and alternatives.
• High level of logic, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively and motivate others.
• Knowledge of IT industry trends, architectural concepts, and emerging technologies.
• Experience with healthcare applications preferred.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Familiarity with Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework and document templates.
• Knowledge of company-specific information architecture and management methodologies.
• Understanding of current and planned software technology and architecture components.
