The Designated Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with 245D regulations, and promoting a positive and inclusive environment. Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to, managing staff, coordinating services, and collaborating with various stakeholders to uphold the highest standards of care and service delivery. With a focus on regulatory adherence, quality assurance, and team leadership, you will contribute to the overall success of our organization in providing exceptional services within the 245D framework. This position will be the lead for our Individual Home Supports program and a company car may be provided for use.Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain a current understanding of the licensing requirements sufficient to ensure complianceEnsure the duties of the designated coordinator are fulfilledEnsure the program implements corrective action, following review of incident reports and emergency reportsEvaluation of satisfaction of persons served with the service delivery and progress toward accomplishing outcomes and ensuring and protecting each person's rightsEnsure staff orientation and training is providedEnsure staff competency is equivalent to their abilities and expectationsEnsure corrective action is taken when ordered by the commissioner and that the terms and conditions of the license and any variances are metEvaluate the information above to develop, document, and implement ongoing program improvementsEnsure general corrective actions are completed as necessaryCommunicate frequently with guardians, management, and caseworkersTrain and manage assigned staff members according to individuals' needs and goalsMaintain an average of 25% (10 hours) individuals served contact time and 75% (24 hours) administrative time weeklyUphold confidentiality and privacy of individuals served and staff membersOther duties as assignedRequired Skills/AbilitiesAbility and willingness to fill in the Designated Coordinator role as neededAbility to pass a background check with the MN Department of Human ServicesWillingness to travel to and from surrounding areas as neededFluently read, understand, speak, and write the English LanguageDynamic communication skills, working techniques, and ability to multitaskGeneral computer skills/knowledgeA working understanding of the abstract nature of maladaptive behaviorAbility to read, understand, and follow specific Protocols, potentially including but not limited to, Seizure Protocol, Functional Behavior Assessment, Behavior Reduction Protocol, etc.QualificationsAt least 18 years of age and possess a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent4+ years of experience working with individuals of varying needs and diagnoses3+ years of supervisory level experience in a program providing direct support services to persons with disabilitiesKnowledge of federal and state healthcare laws and regulations, including 245D FamiliarityClear driving record (No major violations or DUI/DWI convictions in the past 5 years)Experience with Positive Supports and Crisis InterventionsPreferred QualificationsAssociate's degree, or higher, in social work, human services, or similar studiesCurrent CPR and First Aid CertificationMultilingual - fluent, ability to translate if necessaryBenefits401 (k)401 (k) MatchingEmployee DiscountsPaid Time Off12 Paid HolidaysDiscretionary BonusesFlexible SchedulingSchedule8 hour ShiftsMonday to FridayOn CallWeekend Availability as necessaryJob TypesFull-timeWage50,000 starting based on experienceWork LocationIn person
