Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience required. First-time travelers are welcome, but travel experience is preferred. Local applicants must live more than 30 miles from the facility. License: Valid state nursing license or ability to practice upon start date. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, PALS required. TNCC and CPI are preferred. Must-Have: Experience with both adult and pediatric patients is essential. Description: The position involves working in an Emergency Room setting. The nurse will be responsible for handling a patient ratio of 1:4. Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend. Flexibility in scheduling is a must, as block scheduling is not accommodated. RTO must be discussed with the manager during the interview. Experience with various patient diagnoses and emergency procedures is expected. Charting will be conducted using the Cerner system, and experience with this system is preferred. All applicants must possess strong skills in critical care scenarios, including but not limited to trauma, airway management, and cardiology. This role necessitates the management of both adult and pediatric patients. Knowledge and experience in administering emergency medications and performing life-saving interventions will be essential.
