Compact Licensed Triage Nurse

To support afterhours hospice care, the part-time hourly Compact Licensed Triage Nurse will assess patient needs telephonically, provide education and recommendations based on care plans, and collaborate with healthcare providers while working remotely. Key responsibilities Assess physical, environmental, and emotional factors to determine hospice needs Utilize electronic health records to develop patient care recommendations Collaborate with pharmacies and other agencies for effective patient management Required qualifications Current, unencumbered RN license in the assigned state One year of experience as a registered nurse Current CPR certification Knowledge of the needs of terminally ill patients and their caregivers Willingness to obtain additional RN licenses in other states
