Junior Accounting/Finance Specialist 

Job Summary

The role of Junior Accounting/Finance Specialist, encompasses a variety of internal finance-oriented workflows across billing systems, A/P-A/R, and a variety of FP&A functions. This position may be structured as hourly part time or potentially full time depending on qualifications. Compensation is commensurate with level of qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain and process monthly and quarterly billing using Orion portfolio accounting software for investment platform accounts.

Assist with monthly and quarterly payables report distribution to intermediary clients and managers.

Process day-to-day ad hoc final billing requests for investment platform accounts accurately and in a timely manner, escalating discrepancies as needed.

Assist CEO with financial reporting and analysis initiatives.

Transition and documentation of recurring fractional CFO workflows to internal management.

Manage and monitor accounts receivable to ensure accounts remain current.

Provide timely, professional, and accurate responses to customer inquiries and concerns.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance required

1-3 years of previous accounting or finance experience

Experience with Orion Portfolio Accounting billing system strongly preferred

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

Strong time management and organizational skills

Written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
