Clinic Manager III

Overview The Tidelands Health Clinic Manager (CM) oversees the operations of assigned medical offices, aligning daily activities with the Tidelands Health mission and strategic vision. The CM develops, plans, coordinates, and implements clinic business plans, covering budgeting, coding, billing, collections, employee management, policy and procedure development, medical record management, and technical support. Responsibilities Develop and implement clinic business plans and strategies. Manage budgeting and financial performance, including cost containment and quality improvement initiatives. Supervise clinic staff, including physicians (MA’s), Patient Specialists, and other team members; ensure adequate coverage for all positions. Recruit, interview, hire, orient, and evaluate staff, setting appropriate performance goals and providing timely feedback. Oversee provider scheduling to meet benchmarks and maintain adequate coverage; recommend staffing levels based on productivity and patient needs. Maintain accurate employee timesheets, monitor time‑clock activities, and adjust salaries as needed. Act as liaison between the clinic and Tidelands Health administration, participating in marketing and communication activities. Collaborate with the Medical Director, C‑Suite, and Quality Manager to identify and resolve concerns, participate in quality initiatives, and implement process improvements. Ensure compliance with regulatory, licensing, accrediting agency standards, and applicable state and federal laws. Train and support staff in the EMR system to enhance preventive medicine, disease management, and meaningful use requirements. Qualifications Associate’s degree in Healthcare or Business (preferred) plus 7 years of supervisory experience, OR Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or Business (required) plus 7 years of supervisory experience. Minimum of three (3) years of prior medical clinic management or related healthcare management experience. MS/MPM in Health Administration or Business Administration (preferred). Skills and Abilities Strong PC skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Electronic Medical Record experience (preferred). Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Licenses and Certifications Certified Medical Practice Manager – American Academy of Professional Coders (preferred).
