Overview
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Certified Surgical Tech in Atlanta, GA, United States. Start date 07/06/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay range: $1,296–$1,390 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Day shift on a 12x3 schedule (approximately 12 hours per day from about 6:45 am to 7:15 pm) with on-call duties on weekends and holidays; no block scheduling. Setting: hospital (acute care).

Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room, instruments, and supplies for surgical procedures; maintain sterile technique throughout cases.
- Assist the surgical team by passing instruments, retractors, and devices as needed; ensure accurate counts of sponges, needles, and instruments.
- Drape and position patients appropriately; assist with specimen handling and transfer of implants or equipment during surgery.
- Maintain sterile fields and assist with turnover between cases; document operative times and any device usage per facility protocol.
- Support intraoperative workflow, anticipate the surgeon’s needs, and communicate effectively with team members.
- Provide post-procedure cleanup, instrument processing, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements
- Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with active credential
- Experience: Travel assignment experience preferred
- Skills: High proficiency in CST skill set; Level 1 trauma experience preferred
- Additional: Burn experience preferred
- Availability: Ability to work a day shift with on-call, weekends, and holidays in an acute care hospital setting
